My portfolio showcases various events managed throughout my career.

50th Birthday Gala Dinner

  • Celebrating 50 years in business
  • Flew 150 staff and customers from all over Australia and New Zealand
    to Brisbane for event at Rydges Southbank
  • 3 course sit down meal run by MC Stuart Gregor, entertainment by
    Mahalia Barnes and Peter Helliar
  • Silent auction run to raise funds for Starlight Children’s Foundation
  • Designed and created all collateral from invitations, place cards, programs, sponsorship proposals, delegate itineraries, souvenir photo frames,
    media wall, pull up banners through to support staff run sheets
  • Filmed, compiled and edited “A Journey Through Time” video

Corporate Social Responsibility –
Fundraising Events

  • Annual “Starlight Day”activation across national network of 50 branches.
    Designed and distributed communications ahead of event – encouraging team members to dress up, host gold coin donation BBQs and purchase tickets in national raffle.
  • Supplied national network of 50 branches with a Christmas pack –
    a small tree, decorations and pack of fundraising stars valued at
    $2.00, $5.00 and $10.00 to be sold to team members and customers to grant Starlight Wishes for sick children and their family during the festive season.

National Conference 2018

  • 160 delegates – management, branch network, award winners, sponsors
  • 3 day event held at Sea World Conference Centre, Gold Coast
  • Designed and created all collateral from event logo, communications, delegate agenda, work books event shirts, car wrap, sponsorship proposals, product launch, and pull up banners
  • Agenda consisted of plenary sessions, rotational workshops, new product launch in Shark Bay, supplier tradeshow, casual dinner and dolphin show, Casino Royale night at Dockside Tavern, and Gala Awards dinner at Movie World with Green Lantern rollercoaster open through pre-dinner drinks and Hollywood Legends performance during evening.
  • Arrange flights, accommodation, transfers via new Brisbane Support Office and Distribution Centre facility, sponsorships, venue, menus, motivational speaker, and training facilitators

National Conference 2019

  • 220 delegates – management, branch network, award winners, sponsors
  • 3 day event held at Mercure Gold Coast Resort, Gold Coast
  • Designed and created all collateral from event logo, communications, delegate agenda, work books event shirts, car wrap, sponsorship proposals, and pull up banners
  • Smaller business units visited Brisbane Support Office and Distribution Centre and held Awards Dinner at Brisbane Airport Ibis Hotel simultaneous to the Gold Coast Gala Dinner.
  • Agenda consisted of plenary sessions, rotational workshops, competitive team building event, supplier tradeshow with “speed dating”,
    Gala Awards dinners, casual poolside dinner, and summer festival dinner
  • Arranged flights, accommodation, sponsorships, venue, menus, motivational speaker, Gala Dinner MC and training facilitators

National Conference 2020

  • 225 delegates – management, branch network, award winners, sponsors
  • 3 day event held at Stamford Grand Hotel, Glenelg
  • Designed and created all collateral from event logo, communications, delegate agenda, work books event shirts, car wrap, sponsorship proposals, and pull up banners
  • Agenda consisted of plenary sessions, rotational workshops and supplier tradeshow with “speed dating” with delegates wearing head phones
  • Gala Awards dinners, relaxed dinner at LaBoca, and Fun Fair dinner
  • Arranged flights, accommodation, sponsorships, venue, menus, motivational speaker, Gala Dinner MC and training facilitators
